Ok...either my mail and posts aren't getting through, or nobody is
listening to me. Can any of you confirm/deny that you have seen the
FAQ posted in Netnews. The last posting should be dated 18 days ago.
I will be posting again in a day or so. Please somebody go into your
newsreader and make sure that my posts are getting through.
Also, Adam, could you please get in touch with me. I've sent you a few
mails in the past week or two about getting an account on Epas so I can
FTP the FAQ there as it is updated, and haven't gotten a reply.
Thanks...

Subject: Ultramid Programming Help Please
Hello.
I am hoping there are some Ultramid wizards out there (or actually
ANY method of achieving what I want to do is fine, SDK, Ultramid,
whatever).
What I need to do is load in a series of patches (they can be
melodic or percussive) and on demand play the patch. What this
is will be a trigger from my drumset... For example, trigger 1
is assigned bass drum, so I hit trigger one, my custom hardware
sends a "01" and velocity level down to the serial port (01
being the trigger#). My software says "Oh, 01 triggered...
play the patch assigned to 01 at velocity level x".
Now my *MAJOR* problem. I cannot get Ultramid to play notes.
I have no clue if my patches are even being loaded.
Is there any kind soul that could point me in the right
direction? (code examples, explanation, a shot to the head,
whatever :) )...
Thanks in advance,
Rob Lizak Jr.
